15 Simple Fixes That Would Have Made Jurassic World Awesome
13. More Jake Johnson
One of the supporting characters who won a lot of fans was Jake Johnson's park techie Lowery Cruthers, a wise-cracking, unapologetic Jurassic Park fanboy who essentially represents the viewer throughout the film and in many ways feels like this movie's answer for Dr. Ian Malcolm... just nerdier. With his eBayed Jurassic Park shirt and hilariously botched romantic advance towards co-worker Vivian (Lauren Lapkus), Lowery was the film's best attempt at comic relief, but it's just a shame his appearances were so fleeting throughout. It's hard not to imagine Johnson improvising a ton during his scenes, and it would've been great to see more of his riffing make it into the final cut of the film. There's always hope for the Blu-ray gag reel...
