15 Simple Fixes That Would Have Made Jurassic World Awesome

10. Focus More On The Theme Park Aspect

Arguably the major appeal of Jurassic World is in finally getting to see the theme park that John Hammond envisioned taken to even greater heights, with an emphasis on constantly one-upping the "wow" factor as audiences become increasingly accustomed to seeing living dinosaurs. Though Colin Trevorrow does to his credit show off several fascinating attractions, there's not really much of a feel for the geography of the island, and as such it all feels a bit disjointed. Had the film's set-up wasted less time on terrible melodrama, perhaps the start of the movie could've pretty much been a tour of the island and everything it has to offer. Given the iconic nature of the island and the sure wish fulfillment aspect of seeing the park open, it would have been awe-inspiring to observe.
