15 Stupid Mistakes That Somehow Made It Into 2017 Movies

Tom Cruise's thoroughly entertaining crime thriller doesn't ever profess itself to be a stickler for the finer details, preferring to embrace the free-wheeling fun and absurdity of Barry Seal's (Cruise) life and times as a drug-runner.

However, there is one glaring mistake when Seal is picked up by the Medellin cartel in the film's first 15 minutes, after which he's flown around in a distinctive yellow helicopter.

An aerial shot very clearly shows the website address of the helicopter company, even with the craft's open door obscuring part of it.

Considering that this scene is set in the late 1970s and the World Wide Web as we know it wasn't created until the late 1980s, and companies didn't begin to latch on en masse for another 5-10 years, it's wholly anachronistic. Shame.
