The Hangover director Todd Philips looks set to balance the drink and drug-fuelled bro humour of his best-loved films with a somewhat more political edge in this fact-based movie about two average young men from Florida how made it rich by somehow talking their way into the international arms business during the recent conflict in Afghanistan.

Looks like it should offer a little more food for thought than your standard contemporary stoner comedy. For Jonah Hill (who gained a lot of weight for the role), it looks to be a good midway point between the comic roles he made his name on, and the more high-brow material has taken on since; whilst for co-star Miles Teller, it's another step in his post-Fantastic Four redemption.
