15 Weirdest Moments In Harry Potter Films

6. Very Obvious Camera Man - The Chamber Of Secrets

Chamber of Secrets isn't fondly remembered amongst fans but was still a very good entry in the series and took things in a much darker direction, setting up plot points that would be later explored in future books and films.

That said though, it's one of the most error-laden films ever put on the silver screen; from tape for the actors marks being visible, numerous continuity errors, lip-sync issues and crew being visible in several places. This particular error though is the most famous one.

During Gilderoy Lockhart's duelling session, Harry battles Draco Malfoy in an increasingly hostile bout. At one point, Malfoy is thrown backward and Snape picks him off the floor, throwing him back into the fight. When Snape is picking up the prone Slytherin, on the left hand side of the screen, clear as day there is full camera crew with camera equipment for all the world to see.

This is what happens when films are pushed out to meet a yearly deadline, and this goof has gone down as one of the dumbest mistakes in film history, alongside Braveheart's white car and Gladiator's gas cylinder.
