15 Worst Movie Performances Of 2019

2. Milla Jovovich - Hellboy

To actively stand out as a negative talking point in a a movie as messy and down right bad as Hellboy is a testament to just how bad Milla Jovovich's performance was. Neil Marshall's reboot was full of shocking dialogue, dodgy CGI, and an incredibly weird and jarring scouse monster, none of which were any worse than the villain.

In the past, the Resident Evil alum has made a name for herself as a fantasy movie bad-ass, but in Hellboy she couldn't have been further from her best. Granted, she wasn't given much to work with in terms of script, but neither was David Harbour, and he still managed to pull off a decent performance.

Jovovich brought nothing to the table but a poor British accent, rendering Nimue wooden, devoid of any kind of personality or emotion, and just plain boring. A good comic book movie needs a strong villain, something which, thanks to Jovovich's effort (or lack thereof), Hellboy sorely missed.
