The highest grossing film of the year - which currently sits on 90% on Rotten Tomatoes - is "crap" and like a famously terrible, kitsch kids TV programme with horrific production values? Right then....
If you look through the various one star reviews on Civil War's page on Amazon, it's very much a case of butt-hurt anti-Marvelites decrying the film's entertainment factor for some reason. It's nothing short of tiresome.
Some people also just have very odd reasons to critique films:
"I loved the first two captain films but this was scraping the barrel. I was so disappointed. All the infighting was so monotonous. It got boring. Yes the airport fight was okay but why did they go and destroy an airport when they were trying to enhance their reputation and popularity?? Pants. Don't bother."
