Willem Dafoe might be sublime in it, but The Florida Project is clearly not for everyone. Apparently, America turning a mirror on its darker side doesn't go down well with people who'd prefer not to see it.

"This was a story of a bunch of deadbeat prostitute baby mama's on welfare, stealing, smoking, drugs, who didn't take care of their children, let them run all over the place, cussing stealing, destroying property, no guidance.
