In the MCU: Whigham appeared in the first season of Agent Carter as SSR chief Roger Dooley, who ultimately gave his life to protect his people after the villainous Johann Fennhoff fitted him with an explosive vest that couldn't be deactivated.

In the MonsterVerse: He appeared in Kong: Skull Island as U.S. Army Captain Earl Cole, who was killed attempting to buy his allies time to escape from the massive alpha Skullcrawler by arming himself with two live grenades in the hope it would eat him and was smacked aside instead.
