Who's Playing Him? Jon Bernthal. Who's Jon Bernthal? The actor has appeared in films like Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, The Wolf of Wall Street, Fury, Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, and Sicario, along with roles in a handful of television shows, but he's easily most well-known for his time as Shane Walsh on The Walking Dead. What's He Appearing In? The second season of Daredevil. Why You Should Be Excited: Audiences have had three film versions of the character over the years, none of which took off critically or financially enough to launch their own franchises. And while each take has earned their own little group of fans, most can probably agree that none have really provided a final product worthy of the character himself. With Marvel Studios now giving life to their own character - and using Daredevil's gritty corner of the MCU to do so - many have hope we'll finally get the adaptation fans have been waiting for, especially with the brilliant, much-praised casting of Bernthal behind it. Even without having fully glimpsed the character in action, many are thrilled to see how he'll be clashing with Daredevil in just a few months and already have their fingers crossed he gets a series all his own down the line.
