Pirates Of The Caribbean Easter Eggs
Disney

The number of references to the original POTC ride at Disneyland is so high that spotting them all is a game in itself.

Obviously, there are numerous references to "(Yo Ho, Yo Ho) A Pirates Life For Me", which might as well be the ride's official theme tune, the cursed treasure is referenced in the ride, and Barbossa borrows the "bloomin' cockroaches" line from the ride to describe his crew in the first film.

There are also a significant number of background characters who have been lifted out of the ride: the red-headed prostitute who slaps Jack being one of the more notable.

And there are nods to other sequences of the ride in Barbossa drinking wine and it trickling down through his ribs; Jack finding Gibbs sleeping with pigs; and very obviously the prison sequence in which Sparrow tries to tempt the prison dog to give him the keys. In both cases the tempting pirates use bones to try and convince the dog, who remains entirely non-plussed.
