16 Weirdest Horror Films You've Never Seen

3. Sewage Baby (1990)

American Burger Movie
VIPCO

You know a movie called Sewage Baby is going to be interesting when it begins with a text scroll about how it's based on a true story (told from the perspective of a crazy lady no less).

The incredible ridiculous story goes as such: After their indiscretions result in an unwanted pregnancy, a young man convinces his scared girlfriend to accompany him to a brothel that dabbles in illegal back-alley abortions. When the girl decides she’s not going to go through with the abortion, she finds out she’s not being given a choice - she’s drugged, the fetus forcibly aborted and flushed down the toilet. Tumbling into the sewer, the fetus is exposed to dripping toxic waste that assists in its triumphant return as a mutated killing machine.

If there can be said to be a moral to this story, it’s that abortion is bad. But the film spends very little time dealing with that, especially since it’s much more fun to watch a fetus killing people with its umbilical cord.
