17 Movie Villains Who Completely Ruined Your Childhood
10. General Woundwort - Watership Down
His names a bit of a giveaway, after all, no-one called Woundwort is gonna come and save the day are they? The Chief of the warren known as Efrafa, Woundwort is a savage beast so vicious he'd turn anyone, child or adult, off wanting a pet bunny for life, unless you intended to ride them into bloody battle or something. A ruthless dictator, Woundwort oversees all activity in his warren, and rules with his perpetual bloodied claw. In retaliation to the good rabbits of Watership Down attempting to free some of the does Woundwort had imprisoned, he rallies his troops and attacks his enemys warren - dropkicking a few rabbits in the process without so much as a second thought. The scariest aspect of this blood-crazed villain is his total fearlessness: hell attack anything - cat, dog, stoat, badger - and in doing so proves firstly that he is an incomparable evil in the film, and also that you should definitely never trust your pets. The more likely he is to catch a disease from a foe, the more likely he is to take it on in battle; he thrives on conflict, driven by a lust for violence you wouldnt have expected from a film whose cover depicts happy, contented bunnies frolicking in a meadow.
