Did anyone else notice how similar in parts this movie was to Reservoir Dogs, even right up to the end? Just like Tarantino's scintillating debut film, we get an ambiguous ending in which the remaining characters' fates are left up in the air, with Warren and Mannix both seemingly bleeding out in the Habberdashery. Much like Dogs, the simplest answer is most likely the correct one here, especially considering that, at least according to Daisy, Jody's gang will kill anyone left in the Habberdashery if she doesn't show up at Red Rock. So yeah, they're screwed either way, but QT lets the true ending exist only in our imaginations. What did you think of The Hateful Eight? One of Tarantino's best? Or a self-indulgent disappointment? Shout it out in the comments!
