The Question: One of the most prominent rumours surrounding the upcoming Power Rangers reboot is that villain Rita Repulsa (Elizabeth Banks) will in fact be revealed as a former green ranger who, for reasons unknown, wants to get revenge on Zordon (Bryan Cranston). Compelling rumour, or straight-up truth?
The Likely Answer: This just sounds way, way too convincing not to be right. The grubby green suit Rita's wearing is of course the most obvious giveaway, and considering that there hasn't been any talk of a green ranger appearing in the movie otherwise, it just feels like a very neat and tidy explanation.
