18 Most Insane Film Stunts Ever Performed

1. Steamboat Bill Jr. - Collapsing Wall

steamboat bill wall See that huge thing falling over? That's a wall from a normal building. See that guy at the bottom of the screen? That's Buster Keaton. Throughout his long and productive career, Buster Keaton became one of the most famous actors from Hollywood's silent film era, mostly due to his incredibly dangerous and impressive stunts. None better demonstrate this than the above scene. He walks along the road the ground, then stops to gaze at something on the ground. At that point, the wall collapses around him, but with him not getting crushed because of the missing window at the top. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LdY0ROdpp4 What safety precautions did they have?

HAHAHAHAHA!! Safety precautions! You're funny!

In fact, all Keaton had to make sure he didn't get splattered by this wall was a nail in the ground marking where he should stand. The window hole around him had only two inches on either side as well, so the margin for error was basically non-existent.

Whaddya think? Any other cool stunts we missed? Sound off in the comments below!
