On Lost: Dale made his debut on the series in "Live Together, Die Alone," the show's Desmond-centric season two finale, as Charles Widmore, father of Penny. He continued to recur throughout the series' run, through which we learned more about his own connections to the island - and that he was also father to Daniel Faraday - up until his final appearance in season six's "What They Died For."
In the MCU: Dale had a small role in 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier as Rockwell, one of the World Security Council members who was held hostage and ultimately killed by Alexander Pierce following the revelation that HYDRA - of which Pierce was a member - had infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D.
