19 Unforgettably Horrific Movie Bathroom Scenes

8. Carrie (1976)

Stephen King demonstrates the power of Christian fundamentalism as well as a woman's menstrual cycle in this one. Carrie, who is the school's scapegoat eventually gets her first period during a shower after gym class but despite her delay upon entering womanhood, she is completely oblivious to what is happening with her body and believes that she is bleeding to death. As most girls in high school are mean girls, everyone laughs at Carrie during her time of trauma, pelting her with sanitary products at her because bullies will bully. Light bulbs begin to explode as Carrie becomes even more stressed out and once her gym teacher intervenes, she is even more convinced that she is dying. You can't feel sorry for her for too long as she eventually gets her revenge and kills everyone in her school. Plus she still got a date for the prom.
