Shannen Doherty is best known for her 1990s TV work, particularly as Brenda Walsh in Beverly Hills, 90210 and Prue Halliwell in Charmed, the latter of which endeared her to an entire generation of teen viewers.

Doherty's notable film roles were meanwhile relatively sporadic, though she did make memorable appearances in films Heathers and Mallrats, and also showed up for a hysterical cameo in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Doherty spent the last decade of her life battling cancer, ultimately passing away before her plans to appear in a Charmed reunion could come to fruition.

Shannen Doherty died on July 13, 2024 at the age of 53.
