2. Lin-Manuel Miranda - The Rise Of Skywalker

John Wayne Imperial Spy
Lucasfilm

Lin-Manuel Miranda needs no introduction, having created and starred in the Broadway musicals In the Heights and Hamilton, his success eventually putting him in touch with J.J. Abrams.

Miranda was drafted in to compose two of the songs heard in Maz Kanata's castle in The Force Awakens, "Jabba Flow" and "Dobra Doompa," and seemingly as payback for this, he was given a cameo role in The Rise of Skywalker.

Miranda appears for a few seconds in the film's climactic celebration scene, playing a Resistance pilot who embraces a fellow pilot. It's easy enough to spot if you're paying attention, though at the same time, he's in the middle of a crowded frame.
