15. Wes Bentley - The Hunger Games Series

The son of a minister and of a chaplain, Wes Bentley comes from a solid background. His career skyrocketed after appearing in 1999's Best Picture American Beauty. But shortly after that his personal life began to spiral, and a previously promising professional life had also largely sputtered out.

After apparently sorting through some of his personal issues, his career got another boost after he was cast as Seneca Crane, the Head Gamemaker with decorative facial hair, in The Hunger Games.

Other highlights since then include Bentley appearing in Interstellar and becoming a fixture of the American Horror Story franchise.
