1. The Photo Of Ripley's Daughter Is Actually Of Sigourney Weaver's Mother - Aliens
One of the more heart-wrenching scenes in the entire Alien series was actually deleted from the theatrical cut of Aliens, in which Ripley learns that her daughter Amanda has died during the 57 years she has been in stasis, and is handed a picture of an elderly Amanda by Carter Burke. The picture isn't just of some random old woman baring a vague resemblance to Sigourney Weaver, though, it's an image of Weaver's real-life mother, Elizabeth Inglis, who was herself an actress in the 1930s and 1940s.
