9. Clive Russell (Thor: The Dark World)

You'd be forgiven for thinking that the Asgardian seen lurking in many of this sequel's scenes was just an unnamed member of the ancient race, but Clive Russell actually played Tyr, a popular character from the comics. In those he's the God of War, and regular Game Of Thrones director Alan Taylor drafted in this actor from the show to play him. Funnily enough, Taylor and Russell never worked together on the series, so coincidence maybe?
