2. Ed Brubaker (Captain America: The Winter Soldier)

It was always said that only two characters stayed dead in comic books; Bucky and Uncle Ben. Comic book writer Ed Brubaker brought back the former as The Winter Soldier and somehow made it work, and that storyline has had a major impact on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. To pay homage to his work, the Russo Brothers had Brubaker make a minor appearance in the sequel as one of the men brainwashing Captain America's sidekick.
