13. Alexis Denisof (The Avengers/Guardians Of The Galaxy)

Alexis Denisof worked with Joss Whedon on a number of projects, though the most memorable were of course Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. He was unrecognisable in The Avengers as The Other, and with his face obscured and his voice heavily distorted, missing this wasn't in the least bit difficult. Thanos' right hand man wasn't that well-received by fans, perhaps explaining why he was swiftly killed by Ronan in Guardians Of The Galaxy.
