Shia LaBeouf may be long-done with the nonsense of the Transformers franchise, but that didn't stop Michael Bay from including one final (?) reference to his existence in the franchise.

When Sir Edmund Burton (Anthony Hopkins) is explaining to Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) that there exists a secret society of humans tasked with keeping the Transformers a secret, Bay cuts to images of various famous historical figures, such as Winston Churchill, Charles Darwin, Leonardo da Vinci, and even Stephen Hawking, implying their membership.

Hilariously, Bay also briefly cuts to an image of a very frazzled Sam Witwicky (LaBeouf), seemingly including him among the Order's ranks, even if no further nod to his whereabouts post-Dark of the Moon has ever been made clear. Turn away from the screen or close your eyes for a second, though - and who could blame you - and you'll miss it.
