7. White Noise: The True Story
This Michael Keaton-starring ghost story built the chills using the lo-fi, unflashy conceit of EVP, or Electronic Voice Phenomenon, or spooky voices turning up on tape. It's based on a "real" phenomenon, and if you go to the Cast menu of White Noise's special features, then navigate right to select a light, you can watch a 45-minute documentary on it.
