19. Jonas Singer - Head Smashed (SAW II)
Jonas was a part of the gas house gang from Saw II and went through most of the film being a pretty cool guy on the whole. Rational, empathetic and logical throughout each of the house's traps, he finds his demise at the end of Xavier's scary baseball bat.
When Xavier discovers that the code to the safe containing the gas' antidote is literally on the back of everyone's minds, he goes on a mad rampage against his fellow gas house occupants. Jonas is the first occupant to really put up a fight and looks like he might get the better of Xavier at one point. He is eventually overpowered however, and his death is a real downer for us and the remaining characters.
Jonas ends up with a nail-studded baseball bat lodged in the back of his head, leaving only Amanda and Daniel as the guys to root for in the house. It adds a real terrifying dimension to Xavier as well, who goes on to act as a great secondary antagonist for the film.
