Okay, so there's a slight chance that this poster could only be on this list because, y'know, it's Star Wars. We've seen this poster design six previous times over the last few decades. Yet it's still a great poster; even with so much going on, it's not too much to take in (in true Star Wars style). The great use of colour contrast really aids the full image. Rather, it invites you to take a closer look and really take your time poring over every minor detail. It's no wonder it took so long for the internet to realise that the Death Star-looking weapon in the background is actually made out of a planet, or that Lupita Nyong'o's secret character was hiding in plain sight all along. More than anything, Star Wars is back, and this poster just gave it a grand entrance.
