20 Biggest WTF Movie Moments Of 2015

1. Luke Shows Up...For One Minute - Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Disney and J.J. Abrams had smartly kept Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) almost completely out of the movie's advertising, so fans hoped that his inevitable appearance as a bada** Jedi in the movie's third act would be a big surprise. Instead, the reason why Hamill wasn't shown in the trailers is because...there's barely anything to show. That's right, after Rey (Daisy Ridley) tracks down Luke's location using the now-complete map and heads there, she finally finds him, old, beardy and wearing a robe, and the movie ends with her attempting to handing him his old lightsaber, before we cut to the credits. Fans justifiably felt more than a little trolled by the ending, because it just seemed so obvious that Luke would be a big part of the movie, and he wasn't. That said, though, presuming (which is clearly pretty dangerous) that Hamill will have a major role in Episode VIII, it has the potential to be a vastly superior movie from top to bottom.
