20 Biggest WTF Movie Moments Of 2015

15. Abstract Thought - Inside Out

As Bing Bong (Richard Kind) leads Joy (Amy Poehler) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith) on an apparent short-cut to return to HQ, they accidentally end up trapped in Riley's (Kaitlyn Dias) abstract thought processes. They then have to go through four stages of abstraction: non-objective fragmentation (where they resemble Picasso-esque block creations), deconstruction (they begin falling apart), the 2D stage (where they lack depth and cannot run forward), and finally non-figurative, where they're just made of shape and colour. The trio just barely escape before they would become trapped in the abstract realm forever, in what is without question one of the trippiest animated movie sequences of all time.
