After Paul Walker died unexpectedly in November 2013, director James Wan had a hellish task on his hands, to somehow finish the movie while giving the actor a poignant send-off. Somehow Wan did it, though that didn't stop the film having a few moments where the seams weren't quite perfect, with the digital Paul Walker being quite clearly visible (though admittedly only if you're really looking for it). Take the third-act moment where Dom (Vin Diesel) and his gang are staring out over Los Angeles, and it's fairly noticeable from the movement of Walker's head and the slightly unnatural blinking that he's a CGI creation. It's still amazing work, but a little unsettling when you realise it's just an approximation of a dead person.
