Though M3GAN's overall WTF potential was unfortunately limited by its PG-13 rating, it nevertheless got a solid amount of mileage out of its killer robot doll concept.

It's tough to pick just one outlandish moment, but perhaps the most unexpected scene in the entire movie occurs after M3GAN (Amie Donald and Jenna Davis) has caused the brutal death of her owner Cady's (Violet McGraw) bully Brandon (Jack Cassidy).

That night, Cady gets ready for bed and asks M3GAN about what happened, to which M3GAN riffs bluntly on the nature of death, assures Cady she'll always be safe, and then lullabies her with a fundamentally creepy rendition of David Guetta and Sia's "Titanium."

At once hilarious and completely terrifying, this was the scene that confirmed beyond any doubt that the filmmakers knew exactly what they were doing and were absolutely, 100% in on the joke.
