9. An Even Rarer J. Michael Straczynski Appears

Comic book fans might well have known Walt Simonson - they will certainly have known the name if they had any love for Thor as a comic book property - but they, and even film fans would have been harder pressed to recognise J. Michael Straczynski, horror novelist and comic book writer responsible for some famous Spider-Man arcs predominantly. Straczynski is the first local who steps forward to attempt to lift Mjolnir from the ground in the first Thor movie - a homage to his own work on Thor between 2007 and 2009.
