16. Captain America - Background Tree Hints At Thor

If you were paying attention in the first Captain America film you will have noticed that the scene at the start of the film in which Johann Schmidt is after the Tesseract, the cosmic cube's Asgardian heritage is hinted at in the background by the appearance of the World Tree (otherwise known as the near-unpronouncable Yggdrasil in Norse lore.) The World Tree is of course the method of transport for Asgardians between worlds (including Earth) and which Thor handily explains (and draws) in his first movie.
