But for once, Disney couldn't sue, because it came up with the subtitle for its Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One some time after the latest Mission: Impossible film was subtitled Rogue Nation. Paramount agreed Disney could use the title, but only if it didn't promote its film until Rogue Nation's release.

That release date had to be moved up from Christmas to this weekend, too, to keep Rogue Nation from competing with Star Wars VII as well as the James Bond film SPECTRE. It's a very busy year for spy movies: 2015 also has seen or will see Spy, Kingsman: The Secret Service, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Bridge of Spies, Hitman: Agent 47, Survivor and Spooks: The Greater Good.
