The enthusiastic director certainly is a big advocate of the DVD/Blu-ray commentary format, opening his own effort by explaining €œyou€™re listening to a guy who learned a lot about ripping off movies from watching laserdiscs with director commentary€. In the companion to the film following Mark Wahlberg character€™s rise and fall through the pornographic industry, the director breaks down specific shots and provides several memorable anecdotes about the film€™s production. For everyone who was left wondering (or worrying) after the end of the film, that€™s not Dirk Diggler€™s real €˜member€™; €œyeah, that€™s a big ol€™ fake dick on Mark Wahlberg, but we like it.€
