20 Easter Eggs In Harry Potter Films You Didn’t Notice

10. Susan Bones

Warner Bros.Warner Bros.Film: Harry Potter Adn The Philosopher€™s Stone & Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets

As if it wasn€™t cool enough having your dad direct the opening two films of arguably the most hotly anticipated literary adaptation ever, Eleanor Columbus €“ daughter of Chris Columbus €“ was cast to play Susan Bones. The red-haired girl is shown being put into a house immediately after Hermione, being judged to be a Hufflepuff. In a cast built almost entirely of British actors, Eleanor was one of the few Americans and didn€™t have a speaking role.

Eleanor Columbus also crops up in the second and last of her old man€™s Potter movies, this time shown day-dreaming about Gilderoy Lockhart with Hermione. Inexplicably she is shown wearing a Gryffindor tie €“ forgot the house of your own daughter Chris?! After Alfonso Cuarón took control of The Prisoner of Azkaban Susan Bones was never seen in Hogwarts again (though she remains a minor character throughout the books).
