15. Scarlett Johansson Does Her First Nude Scene - Under The Skin
Under The Skin is, quite frankly, one of the strangest movies ever made. The premise is deceivingly simple: an alien, who has taken the form of a human woman and is played by Scarlett Johansson, stalks the Scottish countryside, praying on hitchhikers. While it's undoubtedly one of the best sci-fi films of the year, for another sector of (mostly male) cinema fans the film will always be remembered as the movie where Johansson performed her first full-frontal nude scene. The actress spoke to Yahoo Movies about the decision:
"I think I realized that through the process of just letting go, and allowing myself as the character to be totally present in the moment, and making the discovery of my own self, as does I realized what kind of judgments I place on myself, and how self-conscious I am about all different kinds of things."
Aside from those scenes (which aren't even necessarily erotic), Under The Skin is better seen than written about; in all of cinema, theres nothing comparable. Which is ultimately the best thing about it.
