20 Essential Movie Moments That Will Define 2015

3. Blofeld Returns? - Spectre

The Moment: Alright, so this one isn't even a sure thing, but it's widely expected that Christopher Waltz's villainous character of Franz Oberhauser will be revealed to actually be legendary Bond villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld at some point during Spectre. Regardless of whether various script leaks are correct, it's a delicious spot of casting if it's true, and would be an unforgettable moment for the rebooted Bond franchise. Why It Will Define 2015: Because the appearance of a classic Bond villain is unavoidably going to garner plenty of attention, and with an actor as ridiculously talented as Waltz playing the part, it's almost certain to be one of the most entertaining and memorable interpretations of the character to date. Even if the rest of the movie is merely so-so, a strong villainous performance from Waltz will go a long way towards earning Spectre a firm entry in the Bond canon.
