20 Fantastic Blimps, Balloons, And Dirigibles In Movies

12. Sinbad Of The Seven Seas (1989)

Up (animated film)
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer

After Lou Ferrigno’s run on The Incredible Hulk, he was given dialogue and personality in Sinbad of the Seven Seas, an Italian swashbuckler that is as ridiculous and cheesy as it is entertaining. The movie has little to no connection to the actual Sinbad myth, but does borrow some characters and story elements from the classic tale of Aladdin.

After the numerous fantastic adventures Sinbad has with his crew, he ends up stranded on an island with only a deflated balloon. So what does Sinbad do? He only inflates the balloon with nothing but the power of his breath.

It’s ludicrous and impossible, but man, it looks cool.

Chris Vander Kaay knows the hidden secrets of the world, but he frequently forgets them. He has them written on a piece of paper along with his passwords, but he seems to have misplaced that as well.
