6. Shia LaBeouf
Oh Shia, why you so dull? When I was watching Lawless, I couldnt help but think that he was incredibly boring to watch. Tom Hardy dominated that film. His performance was captivating, well I thought so at least. Shia made me want to nod off. He doesnt give you a reason to actively go out and look for his other films. He needs to command the screen a bit more. This may be an unfair comparison, but if you look at Leonardo DiCaprio, when I was watching him in Django Unchained, I thought wow, this guy is good. I wouldnt mind seeing some of his other films (I have seen a few of his by the way; Im just making a point). Shia doesnt give you that encouragement. If he lands some decent roles, then maybe he can prolong his career by another couple of years. But in 20 years time, no one will remember who he is, because he hasnt given us a reason.
5. Zac Efron
Credit where credit is due, Zac Efron has done a good job distancing himself from High School Musical. Starting out as the fresh faced teen who needed a vocal double, Efron went through a complete image overhaul and became a Hollywood hunk. Thats where it ends though. To be honest, considering him Hollywood is overly generous. Hes so sporadic with his films that people forget he even acts. He did one film in 2010, none in 2011 (New Years Eve doesnt count, that was an ensemble cast) and pretty much one film in 2012 (The Lorax was a voice role, people arent there for him. The rest of them were independents that no one really got wind of). Remind people youre still around Mr. Efron, or you could be forgotten in five years. Your parade of screaming girls will only get you so far.
