Release Date: Currently Pending Director: Peter Berg Starring: Mark Wahlberg, Ronda Rousey, Iko Uwais There is so little we know about Berg's (Lone Survivor) forthcoming title, but then, the less you know, the better, and damn if this isn't an exciting addition to 2016's roster. While a release date is pending, the film will open next year - likely late - as filming begins a number of days after Rousey engages in her UFC bantamweight title fight against Holly Holm on 15th November. The plot revolves around a CIA field officer and an Indonesian police officer who are forced to work together as they confront violent and extreme political corruption. Audiences should expect bruising direction from Berg who is skilled within this genre, and raw, powerful fights from two of the modern greats. Uwais stunned viewers globally with his frantic fight choreography in The Raid franchise - a rare foreign-language super-success in the States - whilst the world is consistently in-awe of the dominant fashion in which Rousey repeatedly defends her UFC championship. Throw seasoned veteran Wahlberg into the mix and boom; 2016 has a serious audio-visual assault on its hands.
