Director Ivan Reitman, who presided over both Ghostbusters films (so far), is one of the most influential comedy filmmakers in Hollywood. His latest work hasn't really been up to snuff, but outside of these lot he also helmed Bill Murray's breakthrough roles in Stripes and Meatballs, most of Arnie's funny work, and produced Space Jam. He also helped to ensure the quality of the next generation of cinema, by giving birth to comedic actor Catherine Reitman and Juno director Jason Reitman. Both of whom appear in Ghostbusters II: Jason as the kid who tells them his dad thinks they're washed up, and Catherine as the gilr with the puppy in Egon's lab.
