20 Greatest Insults in Film History

13. In Bruges

Natalie: Harry. Harry! It's an inanimate f**king object! Harry: You're an inanimate f**king object!
Ralph Fiennes has a reputation for playing serious, sometimes even scary characters. But people might be a little less terrified of Lord Voldemort if they heard him making this absurd comeback. Crime boss Harry is very upset and begins destroying his phone in rage, when his wife tries to calm him down by reminding him that the phone is just an inanimate object. Well, when someone says that, the obvious response is to retort that they are, in fact, an inanimate object themselves. It's such a weird thing to bellow at your wife. But the best part? Later in the film there's a callback to this scene, where Harry apologises to his wife, saying, "I'm sorry I called you an inanimate object. I was upset." What is even happening in this film?
