Don Mancinis Seed Of Chucky, commonly mistaken for a terrible movie, is in fact a so-bad-its-great masterpiece. The plot is actually quite clever; everybody's favorite killer dolls Chucky (Brad Dourif) and Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) are brought back to life on a film shoot (chronicling the legend of the dolls exploits no less) by their gender-bender offspring Glen. Chuckys new family then proceeds to slay Hollywood while attempting to transfer their souls into new bodies. Whose body you may ask? Well one of them is Jennifer Tillys who also plays herself in the film. Needless to say, none of this is intended to be taken seriously. Running gags like Jennifer Tilly's promiscuousness, her floundering career, and Glen thinking he and his parents are Japanese because of a birthmark that reads Made in Japan will be hilarious to some and insufferably lame to others. But then that's sort of the point. Aside from plenty of comical moments, the gore - severed limbs, heads, testicles; you know, the usual stuff - is kept in humorous overabundance.
