20 Greatest Moments From Spider-Man Movies

It's pretty rare that the MCU pulls off a genuinely jaw-dropping plot twist, but they certainly managed it in Tom Holland's first solo movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Throughout the film Peter has been crushing on his classmate Liz (Laura Harrier), and after having his Spidey-suit taken away from him by Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), he decides to try and be a normal teenager by taking Liz to the homecoming dance.

However, when he heads to Liz's house to pick her up, her father answers the door, who is revealed to be none other than Adrian Toomes aka Vulture (Michael Keaton).

It's a legitimately shocking reveal that's followed up by a brilliantly ice-cold sequence in which Toomes drives Peter and Liz to the dance before threatening to kill Peter if he keeps interfering with his business.

Sometimes it's the simple things that work the best, and in a $175 million superhero movie the single greatest scene ends up being a tense, CGI-devoid confrontation between the hero and villain. Brilliant.
