This is yet another deeply emotional scene. You get the feeling that the Harry Potter filmmakers got a real kick out of making the audience cry as much as possible.

In this scene, Harry is reunited with the spirits of his parents, Sirius Black and Remus Lupin, shortly before his seemingly-imminent death and it's as well-written and brilliantly poignant as ever. Impressively, this scene delivers more hard-hitting emotional beats than many drama films deliver in their entire run-time.

Harry asks the spirits what they're doing there and Lily replies, "We never left." Harry asks Sirius if dying will hurt and Sirius replies, "Quicker than falling asleep." Harry apologises to Remus that his son will grow up without his parents. The spirits promise to stay with Harry until the very end. Sirius makes the aforementioned call-back to Prisoner of Azkaban. And when Harry asks them to stay close to him, Lily replies, "Always."

So, in other words, here's a scene that'll break your heart over and over again.
