20 Iconic Scenes In Billion Dollar Movies

18. 19 Years Later... - Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2

Whether or not you approve of this moment actually happening or not will depend on either how much you like Harry Potter, or how you took to it when you read the original novel by J.K. Rowling on which the movie was based. Reception for the scene has been inarguably mixed, but there's no denying the fact that it is - in essence - hugely iconic. We're talking about the "19 Years Later..." epilogue at the end of Deathly Hallows: Part 2, of course: cue lots of terrible make-up! We jest, we jest. Well, maybe. So after Harry and friends have finally put Lord Voldemort down where he belongs (to death, so it happens), the fate of our teenage heroes seems fairly unsure. Cue this sequence, set 19 years in the future, where an older Harry, Hermione and Ron escort their own children to Platform 9 and 3/4. Many people said that this was an unnecessary sequence - something akin to fan-fiction, even - but there's no denying that it is massively "iconic" in every sense.
