There are certain filmmakers whose projects are going to be of interest to horror fans regardless of what genre they might fall into; John Carpenter, Wes Craven, the list goes on. Today, the director known for such modern day horror classics as The Innkeepers and The Sacrament, Ti West, is one of these people. The director's next film, In A Valley Of Violence, is a western, and while it may not be horror, it'll almost surely whet any genre fan's appetite for on-screen violence. The film stars Ethan Hawke as Paul, a drifter who arrives in a small town, seeking revenge on the thugs who murdered his friend. Taissa Farmiga and Karen Gillan play sisters who help Paul in his quest. John Travolta also stars as the town's Marshal, and one can only hope that this character is a merciless villain who loves murdering whoever he comes across (or something entertainingly along those lines). Sadly, if you're looking for anymore details on the film, you're out of luck. Your best bet is to follow the director on Instagram and hope he throws you a bone.
